Royals 11 @ Dash 15

The Royals scored six runs in the top of the first inning, but only five in the next five innings.  Too many popup hits with the wind blowing in on field 8, and not hitting with runners on.

John Unell's short pitch style made many hitters uncomfortable and caused many batters to chase the pitch and popup, while the Dash made the most of their hits.

Game 1 Big Hitters

Iron Pigs 15 @ Royals 20

The Iron Pigs started out strong, hitting four homeruns early, but could not keep up with the hitting machine Royals today!  Max Henry, Brian Criswell, and Greg Oetzmann all went yard, as the Royals outscored and outhit the Iron Pigs, and Spencer Manz made two incredible catches in left center field to rob two Iron Pigs.
