Game 1

BULLS - 12

Dash - 11

The BULLS held off a game Dash team to get the ‘dub’ in game one. The Bulls offense was led by Josh Winsor (4 hits / 4 RBIs), Keg Dyer (3 hits / 2 RBIs), Coach Cuddles (3 hits / 1 RBI), and super sub Reese Leonard (3 hits / 1 RBI). The Bulls held their own on defense, and as usual, John ‘Jorts’ Burke kept the Dash in check.

Game 2

BULLS - 10

Pigs - 11

In game two, the BULLS battled the crusty, veteran-laden Iron Pigs and came up one pig ear short of a victory. The Bulls offense dried up in the mid-morning heat, and the defense was worn out by the numerous Texas League bloopers scattered all over the diamond by the relentless Piggies. The Bulls were led at the plate by Dalton Fallaw (2 hits / 6 RBIs) and super sub Reese Leonard (3 hits / 1 RBI). Scary moment near the end of the game, when LCF Fallaw and SS Leonard collided going after one of those Texas Leaguers. Luckily, both players only suffered bumps and bruises, and no serious injuries (it was a hell of an effort by both players).

POW  - Reese Leonard (sub) >> 6 for 8, with two singles, two doubles, two triples, 5 runs scored, and 2 RBIs (and excellent defense)
