The BULLS took on the hard luck Indians in game one in a scrappy contest. For the second week in a row, the visiting Bulls found themselves on defense with two outs, leading the game, and seconds remaining on the clock. However, the Indians failed to successfully execute an automatic out attempt and the clock ran out. The game was sitting at a dicey 12-8 in favor of El Toros through four innings, but a six-run top of the 5th sealed the deal. One thing’s for sure, the Bulls hitters showed up to play! The entire lineup was on fire and the hits were aplenty. Jorts Burke did a nice job of managing the game from the bump, and the defense was good enough to get the job done.

Knights - 15                                     

Game two found the BULLS matched up against a solid Knights squad led by crusty Shalom veterans like Scotty ‘Realtor to the Stars’ Greenberg, Ronn ‘Barqs Root Beer’ Forniglia, and David ‘Take the Under’ Shaw. The Knights came out of the gate fast and before the Bulls knew what hit them, they were down 11-4 heading into the bottom of the 4th. That’s when the Bulls bats came alive (combined with a little shaky defense on the Knights part) and it was only 9-11 after the dust settled. One big moment of this game came in the bottom of the 5th, when Shalom ‘rookie’ HAP BURDEN hit his first career shalom fence bomb!!! The Knights kept chipping away and held a 15-11 lead heading into the last at bat for the home Bulls. Wouldn’t you know it, the bottom half of the lineup came out en fuego and ALL reached base. When history looks back on this game, the Gumaro-Gadol-Anthony barrage will be marked down as the key to this crucial playoff victory! Once the Bulls cycled to the top of the order; it was game over. Badger and Dyer drove in the three runs to put the game at 14-15 with two on. In steps an angry Dalton ‘You know you love my Mullet’ Fallaw (he was angry because rumor has it the home plate ump in this game is the cousin of the NFL ref that worked the Saints-Rams 2018 NFC Championship game). Poor Scotty Greenberg never had a chance. Dalton hit a walk off three run BOMB that landed on 121 – BALL GAME.
