Game 1

BULLS - 12

Lugnuts - 8

The BULLS rolled out to Allen on a beautiful Sunday morning to wrap up the regular season. Their first matchup was against the Lugnuts who had a sub covering RCF that could stripe the ball while wearing a dress. The Bulls came out swinging and put up 10 runs in their first two at bats and that was enough to get the job done. The Lugnuts put up a solid five spot in the bottom half of the 2nd, but Jorts Burke shut them down for the entirety of the contest. The highlight of the game had to be the youthful, line drive diving catch made by the scrappy Doug Wolff at 2B (heck of a play)!!!

Badger – 3 for 3

Burden – 3 for 4 (two singles, triple)

Gadol – 2 for 3

Anthony – 2 for 3

Game 2

BULLS - 7

Yard Goats - 15

The BULLS second game was against the Yard Goats, led by their unemotional and subdued captain. They arrived on field #3 fired up after a walk off win over the Indians that supposedly involved a Bautista-esque bat toss after the winning single. Badger started the game off with an inside the park homer, but after that, the Bulls offense went quiet. The Yard Goats bats started off slow as well but came alive in the 3rd and 4th innings and they never looked back. We are sending good thoughts to Hap Burden (knee injury) and Roy White III (deflected throw to first off the eye area along with a sore shoulder) and wish them both a speedy recovery!

Fallaw – 3 for 4

Winsor – 3 for 3

Bourque 3 for 4

Castillo – 2 for 3 (two doubles)

POW  - Doc Gadol – 2 for 3, 3 runs, 3 walks (two excellent catch behind home plate too)

ONWARD TO THE REGULAR PLAYOFFS!!
