Ranger's campaign started on a difficult note as they were swept.  Kelly Alexander "the Great" deserved a far better fate as the defense was leaky in both games-he Pitched magnificently...1st tilt saw at least 4 unearned runs score and a 6-4 result...the bats were like crickets and that is a not so good combination.

The bats awoke in the second tilt but again some leaky defense lead to the final demise as the Topes had a come from behind walk off 6 spot in the last at bats.  Tough losses but early and the Gers will regroup moving forward.
