Game 1 - Legends @ Marauders

Final Score: W 18-4

It was a dark and stormy morning as our superstars trudged through the light drizzle to prepare themselves for battle.  D-Generation X (or more commonly referred to as the Legends) went through the motions...stretching, throwing, arm bars, leg kicks and the occasional head butt ... preparing themselves for the road to the Championship.

The Legends stormed out of the gate hot, with Road Dogg Jesse James “Oh You Didn’t Know” (David Shaw) getting the match started with a single,  and Big Poppa Pump’s (Kyle Kravitz) 3 run blast, Plating 4 runs to start the game.  The new mat ball and net combination did cause a few hiccups for Jimmy “The Mouth of the South" Hart (Jon Kilburn), fresh off signing his Legends deal, but after starting with a walk he quickly found the mat and made the adjustment, holding the Marauders to 0.

The second inning was a filled with hits... but Chairman of the Board, Vince McMahon AKA Scott Lawrence, would not back down and no runs for the Legends... In the bottom half, the Marauders picked up a run to narrow the gap. The 3rd inning also started slow, but a double suplex from Bam Bam Bigelow (Rookie, Vinny Terhune), followed by a Hacksaw Jim Duggan (Kelly Stites) SAC and another double suplex from Jimmy Hart (Jon Kilburn) and Big Poppa Pump’s (Kyle Kravitz) single, the Legends would only plate 2.

Sensing blood in the water the Marauders smashed and dashed plating 3 of there own to narrow the game to 6-4.. But our Superstars were just getting warmed up... in an onslaught of hits from The Ultimate Warrior (Jacob Stites), XPac (Liam Kilburn), Tajiri (MingHung Tsai), Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart (Ray Hebbeler) and Ric Flair (Ron Roberts) “Wooooooo”, with assistance from Fritz "The Iron Claw" Von Eric (Mark Fishkind) and a couple of unselfish walks by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (Andy Williams), capped off by back to back Homerun by “The Mouth of the South" (Jon Kilburn) would see the Legends plate 12 runs over the next 4 innings.

Notable Superstars:

Bam Bam Bigelow (Terhune)- 3-4, 3 doubles, RS, RBI

Jim Duggan (K Stites)- 2-2, 2 RS, 2 RBIs

Jimmy Hart (J Kilburn)- 3-4, 2 HRs, Double, 3RS, 5 RBIs

Ric Flair (Roberts)- 1-1, 2 BB, Single, RS, RBI

Game 2 – Grasshoppers @ Legends

Final Score: L 4-21

In what can only be described as a gross mismanagement of personnel D-Generation X clearly misread the script for this match and saw only 4 runs total... with only 8 hits total... those included a oppo bomb from the "Road Dogg" and "The Mouth of the South"...But all in all we got Tombstoned by the Undertaker (Grasshoppers) before the bell even rung.

Notable Superstars:

Fritz Von Erich (Fishkind) – 1-1 BB, single, RBI

Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart (Hebbeler) – 1-1 single
