The TACOS arrived at Spirit Park early to face the classy Iron Pigs. The Tacos game out of the gates hot and scored in bundles, with the entire lineup producing at least one hit each! The Tacos were led on offense by Matt ‘I love the outfield fence’ Shwarts, Luke ’58 time IPOW’ Morgan, Kevin ‘Knoxie’ Knox, Stevie ‘Fountain of Youth’ Johnson, and Intern Cesar. Ace Banta rounded back into form and held a solid Piggy squad in check, and the Tacos came out with a nice W. Side note – it goes without saying but it’s always a pleasure to go up against Ryno and his teammates.

Rangers - 12

The TACOS faced off against a red-hot Rangers squad in game two, led by the crusty veteran and HOF’ER Larry Silverman, and a tutu wearing LCF known to some as the ‘I Guy.’ The Taco bats went cold as returning stud pitcher Kelly Alexander smothered the Taco offense. The Tacos had a lot of hard hits, but they seemed to go right at the Rangers D (the LCF made a couple of stellar catches, tutu and all).
