The Ger's had a really good Sunday as they garnered a sweep!! In game 1 action, the Gers exploded for 9 first inning runs and coasted home to a 14-4 5 inning victory.  The first inning included 10 hits including a 2 RBI 2B from Robert R who remains very clutch when needed.  He is also the consummate team player who moves around when asked and plays every position extremely well.  Omer Gonzales also had a 2B in that 1st inning to cap off the scoring. The defense was solid and Scott Lawrence pitched a gem.

Second game saw the very game Storm Chasers plate 4 in the 1st  and 1 more in the second to take a 5-0 lead after two.  The score was still 5-0 after 3 innings.  The Gers finally exploded in the 4th plating 5 to tie the score.  The Chasers took back the lead in the 5th with a one spot.  With the game on the line in the 6th, Law hits a two run bomb to propel the Gers to their 1st lead of the game.  He continued his stellar pitching as the Storm could not muster a run in the last inning....when the smoke cleared, the Ger's had captured a thrilling 7-6 victory.
