Game of the Week:

Your Temple Shalom Trash Pandas took to the road against Unell's Blackbirds with a lucky wind blowing out on field 3.  Sticking first, we got off to a very fast start batting around in the top half and scoring early and often.  Ransom doubled, Chenz singled, then Kaminski launched the first of his two moon shots into orbit, collecting the first 3 ribbies of the young game. Captain Alexander set the table again by nearly sending pitcher Unell to the ER, Bone doubled, Garcia walked, and Roberts drove in the next 2 RBI with his first of three hits (plus a SAC).  Licurse singled before Olander collected a RBI on a fielder's choice, then clutch hitter Duane Henson singled home JRob, setting the table for Mikey Glosier to clear the bases with a 543 foot monster mash to center field.  Two doubles, two home runs, all 11 batters reached base and 10 scored--that's a good first half inning.

We continued to build a 19-6 lead on savvy team offense and more big bombs by DBone, Chenz and Kaminski before Unell's scrappy squad scratched back getting within 6.  Final score Trash Pandas 19 - Blackbirds 13.
