Cyclones 20 Storm 14

A Storm was brewing. The Chasers were coming to quell it. They were prepared for storm but not for a CYCLONE. Right out of the gate Charles Lachman started it off his outstanding day with single.  Spencer Manz dropped in another. Joe Calvano dropped a ball on the far side of the fence scoring 3. Ariel Rodriguez and  Evan Berkowitz let it fly over the fence as well. Some guy named Knox followed up with a double. An out and error later, Big Bad Michael Barth stepped to the plate smacked a single and grabbed a RBI.  Seth Pepkin then dropped in a single.  Super Sub Carlos Lopez scratched a run over on a fielder's choice. Larry Goldstein popped another single to get the last RBI of the inning. Before the Chasers even came to the plate they found themselves down 8 and chasing the fast moving Cyclones. The Chasers scored a few runs closing the gap to 8-3 after 1. No runs in the 2nd for either squad. Top of the 3rd Evan gets on base and scores on an RBI single from Gary Frank. With Chuck Taylor and Gary Frank on the bags,  Big Bad Michael Barth smacked a double to score 2 more. 11-3 after 3. With the top of the lineup coming up in the 4th, Charles started it again with another single. A fielder's choice and then a double by Joe allowed Ariel to grab 3 RBI's when he ripped his 2nd homer of the day. Then Evan, Kevin, Chuck, Gary, Big Bad Michael Barth, and Carlos all get on base with the highlight being Carlos's double that scored 2. All that added up to 7 more runs for the Cyclones. 18-3 going into the bottom of the 4th. The Storm Chasers being a Pease team didn't go quietly. They dropped an 11 spot to make the game close 18-14. The Cyclones whipped up a couple of more runs that started once again with Charles getting a leadoff triple. Cyclones win 20-14.
