The greatest version of the Woodpeckers ever assembled in the annals of Temple Shalom slow pitch softball history has experienced an up-and-down, in-and-out inaugural season so far. 

With an embarrassment of talent, we start fast one game only to finish slow.  Start slow the next game, peck away, gaining momentum just to come up a bit short.  Coming from behind FTW--check.  Timely hitting one game; stranding a dozen runners the next.  Heroes have emerged up and down the line-up at different times, with nearly everyone being nominated Impact Player of the Week at least once. Let's say we try real hard.

You never know which team you are going to get, but I have seen enough to believe in these men.  We believe in each other, the season is young and we are still in the hunt—the best is ahead of us! The Peckers are coming for you…
