League Impact Players of Week 4:

1-4 Ryan Richardson 6-7, 4 HR, 2B, 8 RBI, 5 RS. Great defense, gunned a runner at the plate to stop a rally. Definitely did his job helping his team sweep an entire division!

5-8 Jon Simoson - 5-5 with 4 singles, 1 double, 2 walks, 5 RBIs and 1 run scored. Apparently, Simo ate his Wheaties and was smoking the ball all day, but cannot forget to mention his lockdown 3B.

9-12: Garreth Johnson 4-6; 3 RBI. Big part in securing the Aviators first win on the season!

Congrats to these 3 for being vital roles in their team’s success on the day!

Storm Chasers Impact Players of the Week:

1-4 Heath Jones – 4-6 with 2 Singles, 2 Doubles, 2 RBI and 4 RS

5-8 Junior – 4-6 with 3 Singles, 1 Double, 5 RBI and 1 RS Big RBI’s all day, great double play turns and key turn in the Play of the Day Triple Play!!! Carlos to Junior to Muck to Omar!

9-12 Rob Garcia – 2-6 with 2 Singles and 1 RBI

AquaSox Toad-ally Rad Players of the Week:

1-4: Chase Chambers 3-7 w/ 3 singles, 2 runs.

He has quickly established himself as one of the best defensive SS in the league. Made some really tough plays that kept the Rumble Ponies from being able to mount any sustained offense.

5-8: Nick “Boom Boom” Croce 3-6 with a 3B, 2 singles, 3 RBI, 1 run.

Excellent pitching holding 2 teams with a lot of firepower to just 12 runs

9-12: Mark Morris 2-5 with 2 singles, 1 RBI.

Solid, high softball IQ defense at 2B all day

Blue Rocks POW's

John Banta - 6-8 with 4 singles, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 RBI and 6 runs scored. Captain Banta showed up on both sides, but most notably allowed 9 runs in 2 games to extend the Blue Rocks winning streak to 6!

Honorable mention - The whole Blue Rocks roster deserved to be a POW this week with 20 plus hits in both games and only allowing 9 total runs! Proud of this team!
