The Rangers completed an incredible sweep with a tremendous come from behind victory in the night cap-more on that later.

In the opener the Gers faced a tough Miller squad who scored often and kept scratching at the Boys. Ger scored 8 in the first two innings and added singletons in the 4th and 5th and held on for a 10-7 hard fought victory,  Defense was good all day and many up and down the line up chipped in.

In the second game the Gers faced the formidable and tough Red Sox.  The Sox dominated the game coasting to a 7-1 lead going into the top of the 7th....the gritty gutty Gers said, not so fast and plated 6 runs to tie up the score.  The 1st 8 batters in our line up got hits or a BB in the inning and when the dust cleared it was tied up.  Gers managed to hold the Red Sox scoreless in bottom of the 7th and we moved into extras.  Gers plated 4  in top of 8th which was fueled by back to back walks from Rocco and Moore (11 and 12 holes).  Tim single home a run and then Brums hit a 2 run triple.  Cuddles brough him home to make it 11-7.  Brums stellar pitching allowed the Gers to hold on and escape with a thrilling 11-7 victory!!  The pitching was great throughout and Defense very solid.  What a heart stopping day for the Gers!!!
