Plenty of positives in Week 3 for Calvano's Twins, including a handful of standout offensive moments in what proved to be an exciting morning at Spirit Park.

Game 1- Strull's Yankees: This game proved to be the 2025 breakout performance for Twins top draft pick Drew Waggoner. Ready to inflict damage with his bat (and trademark visor) , Waggoner ignited the Twins offense with a 3-3 performance at the plate, including a double and triple. Ronel Martinez started the morning off hot with a pair of singles, with Ray Darragh, Tae Lee and Joe Calvano adding base knocks themselves. The Yankees offense proved to be the difference maker in this one, as the Twins would try to better their luck in game two. 

Final score: Yankees 12, Twins 4.

Game 2- Roth's Indians: The Twins would flex their offensive muscles early in this one. Taylor Phillips led off the game with a triple and was quickly brought home on a RBI single by Drew Waggoner. Joe Calvano laced an RBI triple to score Waggoner, and would score on a single by Dustin Bone (and his world famous grunt swing, more on that in a bit). Tae Lee, Ronel Martinez and Wilfredo "Junior" Nieves would all add singles before Karlos Rodriguez seemingly broke things open with a 2-RBI double to cap off a 6-run top of the first inning. The Twins supplied some fireworks in the third, with Calvano adding his first homer of the spring campaign (with basically 9 fingers) and Bone belting his second homer of the season (with an even LOUDER grunt). Credit has to go to Roth's resilient Indians squad in this one, battling all the way back to force a one-pitch showdown in the 8th inning and complete the impressive comeback in a contest that resulted in a heartbreaker for the Twins. Final Score: Indians 10, Twins 9.
