Ranger Rap

The Gers swept their way to 2 great victories Sunday.  First game versus the matching pairs was saw the Gers erupt for 8 and 5 in 3rd and 4th innings to break open a tight contest.  Gers prevailed 16-6 in a 5 inning shortened contest.   Lots of xtra base hits in this one including Tim with 2 2Bs and a HR, Gage with a 2B, Brums with his 2nd consecutive triple from last week to this one,  and Monty with a 2 bagger.  D was solid and pitching artful as the Gers secured their 3rd straight.

Second tilt saw the Gers hold on for an 11-9 victory over the BJ's.  Gers were ahead in this one 10-0 only to see the BJ's rally back and make it a hotly contested battle.  Many stars in this one including the magic Tim man who had 2 HRs a double and 6 RBI's...not to mention his great D.  Bobby " oh what a" Holiday capped a perfect 4/4 day with 2 hits and an RBI.  D Moore and Rako had two big BB's to ignite a 6 run rally in the 2nd.  Gage also had a 2B, BB and silver glove to fuel the offense and defense.  This was a 4th W in a row and the Gers look to keep the heater going next week.
