Ranger's got the brooms out and swept a pair this Sunday.   The opener was hard fought duel with the Reds.  The pesky Reds kept coming back after 5 runs scored for the Gers in the 1st and 2 more in the 3rd.  Gers hung on for a 9-6 victory as the visitors.  Bobby "Brooks" Holiday was incredible at the hot corner with several out standing plays.  He was also 3/3 at the platter. Newby Dyllan (yes two l's) was a hot tamale with 2 3B's and a 2B while flashing solid leather in RCF.   Chucky T had 2 hit and 2 RBI's including  a very speedy triple!!  Isaac "ant" Hill had a great day at SS flashing the leather and moving nicely into the lead-off  spot with 2 hits and  a run scored...consummate team player. 

Second tilt saw the Pirates come to visit with a pep in their step.  Gers once again got off to a fast start with 4 in the 1st to double up the Buckos 1st.  4 more in the 3rd stretched the lead but the Pirates kept fighting back.  We prevailed and won 12-7 as many Rangers got in on the action.  Brums who tossed two great games went 2/2 with a BB, 2B and 2 RBI's.  Chucky stayed hot lashing out 3 more hits, 2 runs and 2 RBIs. Cowboy had another hit with an RBI and more Brooksy like D.  Mike W had 2 hits and an RBI. Doors Moore also had two safeties. Cuddles chipped in with two hits and RBI's and Hogie had a singleton. It was great team effort all around....mostly good D and some timely hitting!!
