The Temple Shalom Brotherhood, in conjunction with the Temple Shalom Softball League, announced the establishment of the Phyllis Unell Scholarship in 2003.  In honoring Phyllis' commitment to education and the promotion of social progress, the Scholarship's recipient will be awarded $500.00 for tuition, books and other related collegiate expenses for the upcoming school year.

The Phyllis Unell Scholarship is an annual award offered to a dependent child of a current Shalom Softball League player.  The recipient is announced annually at the December Brotherhood Breakfast during the presentation of the annual Temple Shalom Softball League Awards.
