Sparked by Tim "Jesus H." Crites, who perfectly executed a first to home double play to preserve the lead and followed it with a 2-out, 2 RBI double to ice it, the Clowns extended their winning streak to 4 games in the opener over the Miller Mariners.  The nightcap resulted in the Dyer/Cuddles Tacos ending the streak in a game that featured two of the most hallowed team names in Shalom League history.
