Mint Juleps jockeys put some holes in their sox with all of the walks we had against the Red Sox. Jockey Dylan Buhrow would kick things off in the bottom of the 1st with a single, and brought in with a Jockey Driggers 2RBI oppo homer. Head into the next inning, bottom of the 2nd, Jockey Jody Beasley would get on with a single, and be brought in with a 2RBI IN-THE-PARK HOMERUN by Jockey ROBBIE FRANKLIN who blew one over a drawn-in outfield. First extra base hit of the season for Jockey Robbie and a BIG one to keep us in the game. 

Skip ahead to the bottom of the 5th and final inning, Juleps are down 4-9. HOF Jockey Eddie Tann would get on with a CRUCIAL single followed by a walk from Jockey Dylan Buhrow. HOF Jockey Eddie would be brought in with an RBI single from Jockey Captain David Buhrow. Runners in the corners, down 5-9, Jockey Driggers walks and with the tying run at the plate, bases loaded, all of the Super Saiyan Kamehameha energy was channeled into Nick Barr’s bat, and he hits a MONSTER oppo grand salami to tie the game 9-9. Red Sox would lose the strike zone at that point as Jockeys Nikita Blair, Simo, Seth “Pepto” Pepkin and Jody Beasley would be walked with the walk-off RBI walk going to Jockey Jody and Juleps would take the win, 10-9. 

***Edit 4/13: Apologies to anyone who read the article before today and formal apology to the Red Sox. This captain was feeling feisty and defending his teammate brother. All love to the Red Sox and here is to a great rest of the season! Play ball! 

Juleps had the split so we enjoyed the victory for an hour before the Storm brought their own hurricane to the 10:20AM game.
