Game 1 vs the Rangers

Ranger Battle 2.0...and it would once again come down to who was the home team. Mint Juleps would kick off the first inning with a lead-off triple by Jockey Dylan Buhrow, followed by an RBI single from Jockey Captain David Buhrow. David would eventually be brought home by Sub Jockey Abel Chavez. Juleps would trot through the second turn silently, but would pump up the noise in the 3rd. Another RBI triple-single combo from the Buhrow Bros and an 2RBI single from Jockey would put 3 more across the board.

Juleps would once again trot quietly in the 4th, only to come hollarin' down the track in the 5th. Singles by Jockey Robbie Franklin and Jockey Danny Buhrow would create an RBI single opportunity for HOF Jockey Eddie Tann. Jockey Captain David Buhrow would get his 3RD RBI SINGLE of the game. Top of the 6th, down 7-8, Jockey Nick Barr would hit a solo homer to tie the game. Two security runs would be added by an RBI single from Jockey Jody Beasley and a SAC from Jockey Robbie. Unfortunately, Rangers had a tough lineup that was able to score 3 and take an 11-10 win over the Juleps.

Game 2 vs Padres

Staying on field 1, Juleps channeled all of their aggression on the Padres. Holding the Padres to nothing, Juleps would start the bottom of the 1st with ANOTHER RBI triple-single combo from the Buhrow Bros (Dylan's 3rd triple and David's 4th RBI single on the day), followed by an RBI triple from Jockey Driggers and an RBI double from Jockey Nick Barr. The hits would not stop in the 2nd inning, with back-to-back singles from Jockeys Danny Buhrow, Larry Taub, Eddie Tann, and RBI single from Dylan Buhrow. A bases clearing triple by Jockey Captain David Buhrow and a SAC from Jockey Driggers would put 5 more on the board.

How about 5 more in the 3rd inning?!?! Singles party lead by Jockeys Seth "Pepto" Pepkin, Jody Beasley, Robbie Franklin, and an RBI single from Danny Buhrow and HOF Eddie Tann. Another 2RBI single by Jockey Captain David Buhrow would give us 14 runs going into the 4th. Padres would hold the Juleps in the 4th and start a run of their own. Up 14-7, knowing they would need to keep the pressure on and keep hitting, Jockey Seth "Pepto" Pepkin hits a double that would be followed up with a ground-rule over the fence RBI double from Jockey Danny Buhrow. Juleps would hold on to win 15-7!

Mint Juleps Jockeys :horse_racing: of the Week:

Dylan Buhrow 4-6 3-3B 4R 1RBI. Some ridiculous and clutch plays in LCF.

David Buhrow 6-6 1-3B 4R and 9RBI.

HOF Eddie Tann 3-5 1R and 2RBI. Big hits in crucial moments to turn the lineup over!
