Game 1 vs Brewers

Our story begins on a foggy Field 4. Dylan Buhrow and Reese Leonard kick things off with back-to-back singles, with Dylan being brought home on a RBI SAC from Dougie Kramer. Things would go quiet until the 4th inning, when the Bratmen would tighten up their lederhosen and grill out some juicy offense. Luke Morgan would lead off with a walk, a single from Dougie, and an SAC from David Buhrow. Back-to-back RBI doubles from Clint Hathcock and Abel Chavez, a walk from Karlos Rodriguez, another RBI double from Michael Bourque, and RBI singles from Alan Gohlke and Dylan Buhrow would round out the inning. 5th inning would start back with Luke Morgan, who would single and be brought in with an RBI double from Dougie Kramer. David would single and be brought home by Abel. A security run would come in the 6th as Gohlke singles, Dylan doubles, and Reese Leonard would bring Gohlke home. A spectacular catch in left field by Clint Hathcock would stop the Brewers in their tracks and bring a clutch end to the game. ALL THE BREWS FOR THE BRATMEN as they take game 1 against the Brewers, 11-9 final score. 

Game 2 vs Seawolves

Imagine a Sunday…when you have just faced a pitcher like Michael Babb…to turn around and have to face a pitcher like Jon Banta. The schedule maker is the absolute worst! This game came down to both defenses and a tug-of-war game for the lead. Seawolves came out with their claws out, but the Bratmen struck back with singles by Luke and Dougie, who would both be brought in by a 2RBI double from David. No polka music in the 2nd, but the tunes would start to pick up in the 3rd with an RBI double from Luke who then would come home on an RBI single from Clint Hathcock. Quiet in the 4th, but 5th would see a single from Dylan, a SMOKE SHOT of a double from Reese, RBI single from Luke, SAC from Dougie, and RBI single from Abel. 

Seawolves would take the lead at the top of the 6th, and down 9-7 the Bratmen were down to their amazing power bottom. They did their job, with Bourque and Gohlke singles putting the tying runs on the bases. Unfortunately, it was just not in the cards for the Bratment and the Seawolves got to feast! Final score: 9-7.

1. Luke Morgan 4-6 1BB 1-2B 2RBI 5Rs. Solid defense and fans got breakfast and a show with the ridiculousness of his range!

2. Dougie Kramer 4-4 2SACs 1-2B 4RBI 1R from the clean up spot. Brick wall defense at 3B.

3. Clint Hathcock 4-6 1-2B 2RBI 1R. Spectacular catch in left field to end Game 1 and secure the W!
